#every now and then i have to draw a little comic strip for one of my aus based on a meme #and make it all up on the spot with absolutely no forethought #sanders sides au #sanders sides fairytale au #sanders sides fanart #roman sanders #remus sanders #janus sanders #creativitwins #i'm probably gonna end up changing janus's design between this and the next time i draw him #i just can't figure out how he should look #don't look at remus's clothes i literally didn't even plan what i was gonna draw before i started doing the lineart #i also didn't use references for anything but the hands #the problem with drawing anthropomorphic animals in this way is that it's really hard to make them show any expression #not that i'm good at that with humans anyway #i guess this is my debut of roman and remus's designs in this au. i'm gonna make little character profiles for them and all the others #idk how long that'll take though cause for some reason i decided to draw 2 full body colored and shaded pictures of each character #that's 12 drawings +the one each i already did for c!thomas and the orange side #i feel like this drawing doesn't look like remus much?#his grey hairs aren't super noticeable so maybe that's why. also the green on his clothes isn't very bright #and he's making a pretty normal facial expression so that affects it too #once again i did not plan this out at all beforehand #this is the 4th au ive made where roman is the youngest character. except in this one he and remus actually aren't twins (clearly)#remus is actually the oldest #so everyone else is in between them age wise #my art

I'm sure many of you have seen the new Among Us x A Hat in Time announcement by now, which consists of new cosmetic items based off of the AHiT characters as part of the new Indie Cosmicube.

However, what I've not heard as much discussion about is the new art featured in the promo.

"New art?" you ask, glancing at the familiar sprite art of the AHiT characters in the background. "I guess Bow Kid's looks new..."

"But what about the rest of them?" I ask, smirking.

"Those have been around for years!" you protest.

"Ah-ha!" I raise a finger, a witty smile spread across my face, "but have they?"

In fact, all of the main character sprite art in the background of this promo has been redrawn. Some, like Hat Kid's, has even had design changes as well.

Let's start with Hat Kid:

Overall new shading and smoother painting lines, including added highlights and shadows to create more depth

New eyes that give her a more cheery and childish appearance

New, more expressive mouth with fangs!

Updated stars on her umbrella

More detailed ears

Below you can see some of the areas pointed out and the original art we've had for years.

Next, Mustache Girl:

Again, completely new shading and highlights

New, sharp gremlin teeth (I'm loving all of the new teeth choices here, Jenna)

Brand new eyes

Changed left eyebrow position to give a more "evil" expression

New styled nose to match the other, newer art

Next, The Conductor:

New shading and highlights

More light spill/reflections on his dark clothing and hat (see the underside of the bill and the left side of his arms/collar)

Larger tongue

Slightly more plump tie

Cleaner line art, specifically on his right hand

That about sums it up I think. That new Bow art is super cute, and I can't wait to see it in full. Oh, did I not mention? Gears for Breakfast didn't spend all of this time redrawing these classic images just for some Among Us promotion. Or rather, they might have, but a little birdy told me that we'll be seeing them again soon...

For what? I have no idea. No clue there. But you can be assured that we'll be getting the full, brand new versions of these pieces of art in the near future!

i usually mostly do like portraits with zero(0) background and things like that so why i decided to just like. try to make a wide shot with mostly background work is beyond me but. i feel like i could do it like i have a vision i just know next to nothing ab perspective or composition but the vibes are there

I'm glad you like Connor cause I don't think enough good people like Connor lolol . I was kind of surprised at first cause you hate dbh so much but then I was thinking like... yeah this guy is totally up your alley hehe

It’s been kinda “overwhelming” (in no bad way) how many people have been completely supportive of our guy fixations, more specifically the one on connor. Every time we get a character like this we do have about a week to maybe six months of hating ourself entirely for liking something That Much. But lately everyone has been so nice to us? It’s weird! It feels like we can just like things. Nd this may sound bad but we really didn’t think we could, for the longest time. Our weird character fixations usually apply to our irl life and identity whether we like it or not! Thomas pitched the idea of businessmen to us (basically just guys in suits) and we sorta ran with it. Needless to say they’re more akin to furries to us than anything remotely human. Which is funny. This is all to say connor fits in here. Funny enough this whole thing has made us feel better about our identity too? Isn’t it crazy how that all works. We tend to develop fixations on characters rather than media. It’s funny. Connor is definitely one of those. It feels stupidly wrong to be this way cause like, by fandom law shouldn’t you care about the media as a whole? I mean, we like twin peaks, a thing another Guy is from, and persona and all that. But. Well, we like the character. Anyway this means a lot to us!! People have been so oddly supportive of us!! It’s so weird - I mean, I know it SHOULDN’T feel weird but. It does!! dbh is an absolutely awful video game, horribly distasteful and just hilariously bad in extremely funny ways. But you see we Like Him.

doctor confirmed that 👉 this guy 👈 got pcos and i just got an implant to at the very least get my whacky periods under control and hopefully get them to stop entirely

#i also have thought about how i was cared for today #i go to a free place that has rotating doctors so i didnt see the same one that told me to get a ultrasound of my ovaries + blood test #previous one was a cis woman and she insisted me having multiple cysts on my ovary (that was double in size to the other one) wasnt enough #(for a pcos diagnosis) so she insisted i redo my blood test on the 2nd day of my period #which i didnt realise at the time is dumb as hell cause my periods are so chaotic im not even sure when they start and when they stop #the doc i saw today was a trans doctor (using iel in french! love to see it) and after i explained my situation was like #well theres no point to check your hormones here since we dont have a point of reference #and your ultrasound shows you have multiple cysts in your ovary so thats pcos #then explained to me what that does to your body & all that its not dangerous per say but its good to monitor and take hormones to help #and i said i was already considering the implant to stop my periods and they said that can be arranged today #told me the other alternatives and the risks associated with the implant but tbh my choice was already made #i mean of course idk how much cisness and transness has anything to do with this #but i had seen another cis doctor about my periods being whack when they started being whack #and he did an ultrasound saw nothing and was like “well nothing wrong with you” and that was the end of it #i definitely felt more comfortable and better cared for in the hands of a peer #(also i had to try three pharmacy to get the implant cause the other ones were out of it #walked way more today than planned but good day regardless!)

i have taken 2 animation classes
